1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or engaging Coasties Commercial Cleaning ("we", "us", or "our") to provide services, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or engage our services.
These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Coasties Commercial Cleaning, ABN 29 616 876 413, operating from Long Jetty, NSW 2261, Australia.
2. Services Description
Coasties Commercial Cleaning provides professional commercial and residential cleaning services across the Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter Valley, and North Sydney regions of New South Wales. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Airbnb and holiday rental cleaning (including linen swap service)
- Strata cleaning and maintenance (including bin management)
- Office and warehouse cleaning
- Residential cleaning (regular, deep clean, and spring clean)
- Post-construction and builders cleaning
- Commercial pressure washing
- Garden maintenance
The specific scope of work for each engagement will be outlined in the quotation or service agreement provided to you prior to commencement.
3. Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation.
- Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing.
- All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.
- Quotations are based on the information provided by the Client at the time of enquiry. If the scope of work differs from what was described, we reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly and will communicate any changes before proceeding.
- Additional services requested during or after the initial clean may incur extra charges, which will be discussed and agreed upon prior to commencement.
- For recurring services, pricing will be reviewed periodically. We will provide at least 14 days written notice of any price changes.
4. Booking and Cancellation Policy
Booking
- Bookings can be made via phone, email, or through our website contact form.
- A booking is confirmed once we provide written confirmation (via email or SMS) of the date, time, and scope of work.
- We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your preferred schedule. However, availability is subject to demand and may vary.
Cancellation
- We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of confirmed bookings.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted service price to cover lost scheduling and travel costs.
- If we need to cancel or reschedule a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (such as severe weather, illness, or emergency), we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative date at no additional cost.
- For recurring service contracts, either party may terminate the arrangement by providing 14 days written notice.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment is due on completion of the service, or as otherwise agreed in writing (for example, in the case of recurring contracts with monthly invoicing).
- We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or other methods as agreed.
- Invoices for recurring or commercial contracts are payable within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.
- Late payments may incur an administration fee of $25.00 plus interest at a rate of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
- We reserve the right to suspend services where accounts remain unpaid for more than 30 days.
6. Our Obligations
Coasties Commercial Cleaning commits to the following:
- Providing a professional, thorough, and reliable cleaning service in accordance with the agreed scope of work.
- Employing trained and vetted staff who uphold our standards of quality and professionalism.
- Maintaining current public liability insurance of $20 million to protect both our team and our clients.
- Using professional-grade, quality cleaning products and equipment, including eco-friendly options where available.
- Treating your property with care and respect at all times.
- Communicating promptly and transparently about any issues that arise during service delivery.
- Complying with all applicable Australian laws and workplace health and safety regulations.
7. Client Obligations
To enable us to deliver our services effectively, the Client agrees to:
- Provide safe access to the property at the agreed time, including keys, access codes, or other means of entry as required.
- Ensure a safe working environment free from hazards that could endanger our staff, including but not limited to aggressive pets, dangerous substances, or structural hazards.
- Provide accurate information about the property, its condition, and the scope of work required when requesting a quotation.
- Notify us of any special requirements, allergies, restricted areas, alarm systems, or security procedures prior to the commencement of services.
- Secure valuables and personal items of significant monetary or sentimental value prior to the cleaning appointment. While we take every care, we are not responsible for items left unsecured.
- Ensure adequate water and electricity supply is available at the property for the duration of the clean.
8. Liability Limitations
While we take the utmost care in delivering our services, the following limitations apply:
- Coasties Commercial Cleaning holds $20 million public liability insurance. Any valid claims for damage caused by our negligence will be managed through our insurer.
- We exercise reasonable care when handling your property. However, we are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, inherent defects, normal wear and tear, or items that are fragile, improperly secured, or not disclosed to us before the service.
- Our liability for any single claim shall not exceed the value of the service provided, except where covered by our public liability insurance.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from our services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of use, or loss of data.
- Stain removal, mould treatment, and similar specialised cleaning outcomes cannot be guaranteed, as results depend on factors beyond our control such as the age and severity of the stain, surface materials, and previous treatments.
9. Property Access and Security
- Where keys, access cards, or security codes are provided to us, we will store them securely and use them solely for the purpose of providing the agreed cleaning services.
- We will return all keys and access devices promptly upon termination of the service agreement or at the Client's request.
- Our staff will ensure that all doors, windows, and gates are locked and secured upon departure, unless otherwise instructed.
- If the Client fails to provide access to the property at the agreed time without prior notice, a lock-out fee equivalent to the cost of travel and lost time may apply.
10. Damage and Complaints Procedure
- We take great pride in the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 24 hours of the service completion so that we may promptly address your concerns.
- Where a valid concern is raised within 24 hours, we will arrange a complimentary re-clean of the affected area at the earliest mutually convenient time.
- Any claims for damage to property must be reported within 48 hours of the service, accompanied by photographic evidence where possible.
- We will investigate all damage claims fairly and promptly. Verified claims caused by our negligence will be managed through our public liability insurance.
- We are committed to resolving all complaints in a professional and timely manner. If a resolution cannot be reached directly, either party may seek mediation through an independent dispute resolution service in New South Wales.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Coasties Commercial Cleaning website — including but not limited to text, images, photographs, graphics, logos, icons, videos, and design elements — is the intellectual property of Coasties Commercial Cleaning or its licensors and is protected under Australian copyright law.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our prior written consent.
- The Coasties Commercial Cleaning name, logo, and branding are our trademarks. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
- Where we take photographs of completed work at a client's property, we may use these images for marketing and portfolio purposes only with the Client's consent. No personally identifiable information will be shared.
12. Privacy

13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised terms on our website. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
For clients on recurring service agreements, we will provide reasonable notice (at least 14 days) of any material changes to these terms that may affect the services being provided.
Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided by Coasties Commercial Cleaning shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
